Adding Tires to a Collision Order in Trax

If wheels are added to a collision order and the TireConnect integration is set up, a modal will prompt you to add tires to the order. 

Prerequisites

To use this feature, the following criteria must be met: 

1. The user must be set up to place tire orders. 
2. The shop account must be integrated with TireConnect and connected to at least one tire supplier.

To add tires to a collision order:

1. From within the order, click Actions and choose Add Tires from the menu.
   
2. The Add Tires modal appears on the right, with the VIN prepopulated and validated.
   
3. Choose the correct tire size from the Selected Size drop-down menu. 
   
   1. If you do not see the required tire size, choose Search by Size from the Select Search Option drop-down menu and choose the size you need. 
      
4. When ready, click View Tire Quotes.
   
5. A list of tire options displays. Update the Quantity in the Filter Bar. 
   
6. If needed, narrow your results further using the Filter Bar and click Filter when ready. 
   
   Options include: 
   • Vehicle Make (drop-down or typed into field)
   • Vehicle Model (drop-down or typed into field)
   • View All or By Local Qty
   • Season
   • Size (drop-down or typed into field)
7. Search results display in a grid, showing the following details: 
   
   • Model
   • Part number
   • Size
   • Season
   • Warranty, if applicable
   • Price
   • Number of suppliers with the desired quantity available
8. To view more details on a specific tire, click the icon to the left of the line item.
   
   1. Click the icon to hide the details. 
9. To view suppliers with the tire in stock, click Suppliers from the Actions column. 
   
10. The Suppliers modal appears on the right, listing all available suppliers for that tire. Check the box to the left of the desired supplier. 
    
    1. If the supplier has more than one location near you with available tires, check the desired option and enter the quantity to order in the provided field. 
11. Select your preferences from the drop-down menus that display (i.e. Sales person, Delivery method, Delivery time). 
    
12. When ready, click Add to Cart.
    
13. The tires page will close and the order page will refresh, with the tires appearing as a new line item on the collision order.
